Research Interests
- Pediatric mental health; Self-management of pediatric chronic conditions; Stress, toxic stress, and anxiety symptoms in youth; Dr. Rechenberg's passion as a nurse scientist is to improve the identification and treatment of pediatric mental health conditions that affect self-management of chronic medical conditions, specifically Type 1 diabetes.
