Research Interests
- Dr. Amofa-Ho's research interests include mild cognitive impairment (MCI), dyadic interventions, dementias, the role of psychosocial factors/determinants of health on cognitive aging, implementing interventions to prevent cognitive decline, and adapting interventions for underserved populations. Her current research focuses on the adaptation of multimodal lifestyle intervention delivery remotely for persons with MCI and their family caregivers. She is also interested in the use of lifestyle interventions to reduce poor health outcomes among persons with high multimorbidity and culturally sensitive adaptation of interventions for underrepresented populations at increased risk of ADRD.
