Our training program has four career tracks initiated in the later part of their first year of training.  Residents can change their track at any time during their training.  These are aligned with ACGME requirements and allow each resident to develop an individualized curriculum to meet their future career goals.

• General Pediatrics - Hospitalist
• General Pediatrics - Ambulatory
• Subspecialty
• Subspecialty - Procedure Based (i.e. Critical Care, Neonatology, ER)

Additionally, residents can also choose one of the two pathways which can be added to any track.

Global Health

• Can participate in the MPH certificate program
• Spanish language training
• Educational seminars
• Possible travel to an underserved country

Research Pathway

• Individualized research projects with mentor/team
• Can involve clinical or basic science research
• Can participate in the Clinical and Translational Research Training (CTRT) program with JHACH
