Our training program has four different career tracks available. All residents develop an individualized curriculum during the later part of their first year of training in conjunction with their advisor and the Program Directors. Residents can change their track at any time during their training.
A variety of experiences can be done as part of each track. For each of these tracks we have a list of suggested experiences to guide your elective choices.
Residents can also choose one of the two pathways which can be a part of any track.
Global Health - International experiences including Panama, other locations, Public Health exposure, underserved clinic for longitudinal and block experience, Spanish language training. This pathway can be part of Masters in Public Health program.
Research Pathway - Individualized research projects with mentor/team. Can involve clinical or basic science. May also include a seminar series in PL2/3 year, other research activities, EBM activity.
