Pediatrics Residency

How to Apply

Apply to Pediatric Residency

Thank you for your interest in our training program

We participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and only accept applications in this manner.

We require three letters of recommendation. We prefer that you take the USMLE exam but will accept COMLEX scores.  We don’t have a required minimum score, but we will only offer interviews after you have passed the exam.

For International Medical Students, we require six (6) months of US clinical experience (observation alone does not count). Applicants must have graduated within the previous five (5) years. USF sponsors J1 Visas for those accepted into our program. ECFMG certification is required before submission of our rank list. Interviews are by invitation only after review of your completed application.

We typically interview two to three days a week from the end of October through early January. We will use Thalamus to schedule your interview. All interviews are virtual through Zoom.

Please review our website and submit your application through ERAS. If you have any additional questions, please contact Kelly Paulina, our program manager at paulina@usf.edu for more information.

We look forward to hearing from you!
