If your child is admitted to either Tampa General Hospital or St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, USF Health Pediatrics has a team of hospitalists who monitor and treat your child while he or she is in the hospital. Called Hospital Medicine, this specialty is designed to offer more immediate, personalized care while your child is admitted in the hospital, and a seamless transition back to your family’s own doctor for follow up.  USF Health’s team of pediatric hospitalists provide patient-centered care in a multi-disciplinary approach, and we partner with multiple university and community physicians in the Tampa Bay region.
