General Pediatrics at USF Health manages all areas of childcare from birth to age 21. Skilled pediatric providers focus on a family-centered approach for care that grows with your child and adapts as they transition into adolescence and adulthood. USF Health Pediatrics is recognized as Patient Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
USF Pediatrics provides a medical home for children with chronic medical conditions. We provide referrals to specialty care, developmental therapy and have specialty care available to coordinate within our primary care office setting, this allows you to coordinate your child's care with specialists including - Pediatric Pulmonary, Neurology, Hematology Oncology, Genetics/Metabolic, Adolescent Medicine and the Healthy Weight Program. For children who need other specialty care, USF Pediatrics will provide referral for these services. USF Pediatrics provides the most up to date care for children with conditions such as Asthma, ADHD and Obesity.
USF Pediatrics operates a complex care program, which provides complex care to infants/young children who have special needs from ages 0-5 years. This program provides case management and coordination of care through a team approach coordinated with Tampa General Hospital NICU, PICU and Inpatient Programs.
