Meeting Our Patient's Expectations

At USF Health our goal is to make life better.

We recognize that IBD is a complex disease and often requires care from multiple providers in different specialties. Patients treated at the IBD Center receive continuity of care as we work closely and collectively with colorectal surgeons, gastroenterologists, and nutritionists.

We are building a true IBD home with a goal to coordinate care for all of our patients with a dietitian, social worker, primary care provider and obstetrician long term.

Resources such as imaging, endoscopy, pathology, and consult services are available all in a coordinated care approach.

The IBD Center Takes a Multidisciplinary Approach to Your Health Care

Our team of dedicated experts provides comprehensive care using state-of of-the the-art treatment and disease management approaches focused on IBD. Coordinated care and specialized services allow us to offer our patients customized care plans and to suit their individual needs and lifestyle. The IBD program is engaged in a robust research program offering cutting-edge clinical trials and transnational research to better understand and manage IBD, and to speed innovations that will help more patients on their paths to wellness.

The IBD Center is proactive in researching treatment and cures for conditions related to IBD.  For more information regarding clinical trials or to participate you can contact our research team by phone (321) 877-6268, or by emailing IBDresearch@usf.edu.

Giving

The USF Health IBD Center needs your support to continue to grow and build a state-of-the art center.  It is our goal and hope that we can come together through donations from the community to create a physical center solely designed for the IBD patient population and staffed with expert physicians from a multitude of specialties with a focus in caring for the IBD population. Any donation helps us get closer to this goal and beyond that to continue to build on the foundation we have worked so hard to create.

We will never cease advocating for our patients and fighting to prevent, treat and hopefully cure this disease. Please consider making a donation to help make this dream a reality. You too can make a difference supporting the mission of the IBD program.  For more information on how to donate visit usf.to/FightIBD.
