The Collegia Program is a learning community model that engages students in and out of the classroom. Our multi-faceted program consists of Social Engagement. Health and Wellness, Professional Identity Development, Career Advising, and Curricular Activities.
Each first-year medical student is placed into 1 of 9 Collegia that is comprised of other students across the four years of the curriculum. There are approximately 18 students per class and 72 students total per collegium. Each collegium is led by a second-year medical student and advised by a faculty member, who also serves as the career advisor for the student throughout medical school.
