Who We Are
Marissa J. Levine, MD, MPH, FAAFP
Director, Center for Leadership in Public Health Practice
Dr. Marissa Levine is the Director of the Center for Leadership in Public Health Practice, where she imparts a positive, strength-based, systems-thinking approach to leadership in complex contexts. Dr. Levine is a Professor of Public Health Practice in the College of Public Health at USF and collaborating faculty with the Department of Family Medicine at the Morsani College of Medicine. With 16 years of medical practice experience as a retired family physician, her primary focus is on sustainable and equitable population health improvement.
Anthony J. Masys CD, PhD
Center for Leadership in Public Health Practice
Dr. Tony Masys relaunched the Public Health Executive Leadership Program at USF in 2018 in partnership with Dr Levine. With a focus on applied systems thinking, design thinking and futures thinking, Dr. Masys is an Associate Professor in the College of Public Health at USF. A former senior military officer and defense scientist with the Department of National Defense, Dr. Masys specializes in addressing complex challenges through social innovation, applied systems thinking, futures thinking, and design thinking.
Parnia Roghani Shareef, MPH, CPH
Program Coordinator, Center for Leadership in Public Health Practice
Parnia Roghani Shareef serves as a Program Coordinator at the Center for Leadership in Public Health Practice. In this role, she oversees administrative functions, coordinates the Public Health Executive Leadership Program, and leads trainings for the Community Based Partnership with the Region IV Public Health Training Center. Parnia earned her Master of Public Health with a focus in behavioral health at the University of South Florida.
