Tricia Penniecook, MD, PhD
Interim Director, Center for Leadership in Public Health Practice
Dr. Tricia Penniecook serves as Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs and Development at the University of South Florida College of Public Health, providing strategic leadership across academic, educational, and faculty initiatives. A physician, educator, and public health administrator with over 24 years of experience, she is committed to developing leaders who advance health justice through practice, research, advocacy, and policy. Dr. Penniecook was the first Afrolatina Dean of the School of Public Health at Loma Linda University and has held senior leadership roles at Oakwood University. She also serves as a National Councilor and Site Visitor for the Council on Education for Public Health.
Anthony J. Masys, CD, PhD

Dr. Tony Masys relaunched the Public Health Executive Leadership Program at USF in 2018 in partnership with Dr. Marissa Levine. With a focus on applied systems thinking, design thinking and futures thinking, Dr. Masys is an Associate Professor in the College of Public Health at USF. A former senior military officer and defense scientist with the Department of National Defense, Dr. Masys specializes in addressing complex challenges through social innovation, applied systems thinking, futures thinking, and design thinking.
