Brief Biography: Sandhya is the Director of the Educational Technology and Assessment office. She has Masters degrees in Instructional Technology and Public Health from University of South Florida. She has worked at COPH for over 18 years and has extensive experience working with faculty in transitioning public health programs and courses to an online platform. She currently participates in University and National technology work groups.

Brief Biography: Andrés Abril graduated with a Curriculum and Instruction terminal degree in Instructional Technology from the University of South Florida in 2013. He joined the ETA team in 2012. He has an interest in Higher Ed administration, distance learning and communication theories.

Brief Biography: Carlos Montoya graduated with a Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology from Florida Atlantic University in 2012. He joined the ETA team in 2014. His interests are to increase student engagement in both online and in-class settings as well as to help enhance faculty’s pedagogical repertoire to meet the many learning needs of our diverse students.

Brief Biography: Jung earned her PhD in Instructional Systems at Florida State University. She joined the ETA team in 2013. She is currently one of the Quality Matters coordinators at USF and also serves as a QM certified peer reviewer and a F2F APPQMR workshop facilitator at COPH. Jung has more than 15 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of Educational Technology, which involves both F2F and online environments. Her interest lies in instructional design for complex learning and transfer. She has published a book on the 4C/ID-model, 4 peer-reviewed journal articles, a book chapter, and has delivered more than 40 presentations at national/international education conferences. Her research has been recognized with international awards from the Association for Educational Communications and Technology including the Robert M. Gagné Award and the ECT Foundation Young Researcher Award.

Brief Biography: Nicole Kenna received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University in 2011 as well as a Master of Science in Instructional Systems in 2013. She joined the ETA team in 2022.

Brief Biography: Gina Giordano received a Master’s in Library and Information Science from USF, and a MicroMaster’s graduate certificate in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Maryland. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media Communication from Florida State University.

Brief Biography: Hailee earned her Master’s degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction, from the University of Florida in 2021. She is currently working on a graduate certificate in eLearning Design and Development at the University of South Florida. She is interested in leveraging technology to enhance learner engagement and create dynamic and interactive virtual learning experiences.
