Available libraries include JHACH Medical Library and several libraries at USF such as: Shimberg Health Sciences Library, Tampa Campus Library and Nelson Poynter Memorial Library (St. Petersburg Campus Library). All libraries have access to MEDLINE.

The USF Department of Pediatrics also free online access to a Virtual Library to access several journals, textbooks, member-restricted education web sites and medical news. The Fellows can use those applications for access at home or at any computer at JHACH 24 hours a day. All Division faculty, fellows and staff have access to OVID MEDNET a computer-based system that provides users with access to health sciences literature. Currently, five databases are on MEDNET: Medline, HealthSTAR, CancerLit, AIDSline and CINAHL. Additionally, they have the ability to access MD Consult. There are more than 100 full text journals that are available on-line on a 24-hour basis.

The Division of Allergy and Immunology has up-to-date textbooks and resources in Allergy and Immunology that are available to the Fellows. Various volumes of books covering subjects on cellular and molecular immunology, molecular biology, asthma, immunobiology, asthma, food and allergy intolerance, dermatologic diseases, sinusitis, immunology, immunologic diseases, and numerous subjects pertaining to allergic and immunologic diseases are accessible.

Other various educational resources are available to the fellows for self-education in the Division of Allergy/Immunology at JHACH including recordings from various educational programs sponsored by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Clinical Immunology Society, American Thoracic Society, etc. The Allergy/Immunology fellows are given access to online educational materials and software programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, WordPerfect, Excel, etc. at all times.
