An important resource for medical students and faculty scholars is the Office of RISE. Located within the Office of Educational Affairs, specialists are available to help students and faculty navigate through scholarly experiences. The Office of RISE can assist in acting as an advocate in this process, providing guidance and materials regarding the pursuit and presentation of scholarly work.

The majority of MCOM students engage in scholarly projects and research as part of the Scholarly Concentrations Program (SCP). Individual concentrations provide focused resources and guidance with the aim of students increasing scholarly expertise and creating publishable outcomes. Many SCP students do additional scholarly work/research outside of their declared concentrations. This section contains a variety of general resources in the form of articles and links.
