The College of Public Health offers a variety of programs to help faculty grow, connect, and succeed. From mentoring and skill-building workshops to orientation and career development resources, our Professional Development opportunities are designed to support you at every stage of your academic journey.
COPH Mentoring Program
New and junior faculty are paired with experienced mentors to navigate COPH's culture, build skills, and achieve their research, teaching, and career goals. The program ensures every faculty member has guidance and support to succeed long-term.
ETA Tech Workshops
Monthly technology-focused workshops offered by the Office of Educational Technology and Assessment (ETA) help faculty enhance online and hybrid teaching, stay current with instructional tools, and integrate technology effectively into their courses.
COPH Lunch & Learns
The COPH Office of Faculty Affairs coordinates lunchtime faculty development programs and periodic workshops throughout the academic year regarding University, USF Health, and College processes as well as other topics of interest such as promotion & tenure and grants management. These programs help faculty stay informed, connected, and engaged.
Online Faculty Development (OFD)
Online Faculty Development at USF University College is available to all USF Faculty and Teaching Assistants teaching online and technology-enhanced courses for instructional technology assistance and support. We are located in the Student Services Building at the USF Tampa Campus in suite SVC1072.
Learning and Talent Development
The Employee Success Center provides faculty and staff with resources, training, and support to develop the right people for the right positions. Through innovative systems and development tools, the Center empowers employees to grow professionally while advancing USF’s mission of excellence.
