Dr. Kuang completed his BA in Music at Duke University in 2014 and obtained his MD degree from the University of South Florida in 2019, where he stayed to complete his Internal Medicine & Pediatrics residency training, including a year as a chief resident. He joined faculty in 2023 and continues to be active in medical student education and involved in USF student-led free clinic work.

Dr. McCormick joined the USF faculty in 2008 after six years in private practice. In addition to being a medical doctor, Dr. McCormick is a registered pharmacist, having majored in pharmacy as an undergraduate student where he graduated at the top of his class. Subsequently, he completed an internship and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at USF, including a year as chief resident. Dr. McCormick is a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and with the American College of Physicians (FACP).

Dr. McCormick has received several awards for his teaching and clinical skills. He is currently the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Training Program at USF, where he is actively engaged in training residents and medical students.

Dr. Perez-Colon was born and raised in Villalba, Puerto Rico. She obtained her degree of doctor in medicine at the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico in 2009. She completed her combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at the University of South Florida in 2013 and is board certified on both. Her main passions are global health and disparities. She has involved with multiple projects internationally in Nicaragua, Panamá, Haiti and Dominican Republic as well as locally in the Tampa Bay area. She is also an avid traveler and loves photography.
