This health insurance plan only applies to those who began their USF MCOM GME appointment prior to March 1, 2025.
Those hired after will be offered the State of Florida health insurance plans.

Coverage is provided via United HealthCare – Choice Plus Plan and is based on a three-tier plan. The USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) pays for the Resident/Fellow portion of the health insurance coverage. If you wish to add dependents, you will have a deduction of $75 per month for spouse coverage or $100 per month for family coverage (spouse & children) via automatic payroll deduction. You have 60 days after a qualifying event (e.g. birth, adoption, marriage) to add a dependent to the coverage.
