Health Insurance
Coverage is provided via United HealthCare – Choice Plus Plan and is based on a three-tier plan. The USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) pays for the Resident/Fellow portion of the health insurance coverage. If you wish to add dependents, you will have a deduction of $75 per month for spouse coverage or $100 per month for family coverage (spouse & children) via automatic payroll deduction. You have 60 days after a qualifying event (e.g. birth, adoption, marriage) to add a dependent to the coverage.
To make changes for a qualifying event, please contact hannahf@usf.edu and Nancy.Dugas@munizandassociates.net.
If you have any questions regarding your United Health Care plan or additional benefits offered to you by GME, please contact the GME office at gme-hrforms@usf.edu.
