The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office at the University of South Florida provides a structured framework dedicated to the oversight and management of all graduate medical educational programs and trainees. We follow and endeavor to exceed the compliance standards established by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), as we foster innovation and collaboration at the institutional and programmatic level. Our office is committed to a high level of service to members of our GME community. We are guided by the principles of stewardship, integrity, accountability, and transparency.
GME has prepared the House Officer Handbook to help you familiarize yourself with the benefits provided to you as a USF GME trainee. The Handbook also provides you with a comprehensive summary of policies, procedures and services available to you.
You will complete much of the onboarding process through a checklist in New Innovations. The checklist contains multiple steps with each step containing specific instructions for completion. You will also be receiving e-mails from the GME Staff on how to set up your USF e-mail, Saba modules, and other important information as the on-boarding process continues – please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
Again, welcome to the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. We look forward to guiding you through your training program!
