The mission of the Study Design and Data Analysis group is to coordinate and facilitate research activities among members of USF Health in medical and public health research fields. The first major objective is to aid in the study design, sample size and power calculations, and data analysis plan of grant applications to increase our competitiveness for extramural funding. The second major objective is to work on funded projects, including descriptive and inferential data analysis, and result reporting. The third major objective is to provide independent data management for all projects as per NIH guidelines for clinical trials and clinical research projects and ensure the confidentiality of the data at all times.
