Infection Control

Overview

Infection Control for Emergency Responders

Infection Control for Emergency Responders (ICER) is a multi-modal project designed to deliver targeted infection control and prevention education to emergency responders, including EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters. Guided by a multidisciplinary team, the program will be shaped by input from a comprehensive needs assessment conducted with both frontline personnel and administrative leaders from EMS and fire services.

The project will establish the Infection Control for Emergency Responders Resource Collaborative and Training Hub, a centralized platform for training delivery, recruitment, resource dissemination, referrals, and expert consultation.
