Student Activities & Events
USF Research Day
Most students engage in research during their years at MCOM. This can be arranged as a mentored summer research project during the summer between years one and two, during the elective time in the third and fourth years, or as part of a structured curriculum in the Scholarly Concentration Program. Students acquire tools essential to undertake, and critically evaluate, clinical and basic science research. USF Health Research Day is a day-long event showcasing the best and the brightest researchers across all USF Health colleges, as well as guest researchers whose work focuses on the science of health. It also allows many of them to spotlight existing collaborations, as well as form new ones. Please view the Student Research page to learn more about some of the research being done at MCOM, as well as more information about Research Day.
