Workshops at the Byrd Institute

Workshops are conducted throughout the year at the Institute on topics pertaining to Alzheimer's disease and caregiver issues. In addition to health care and service providers, workshops are also conducted for first responders, faith-based groups, support group leaders and more. Please check the Calendar of Events for upcoming events.

Customized workshops and educational programs

Customized workshops can be designed to meet the specific educational needs of your staff, organization or group. They can be conducted at the Byrd Institute in Tampa or at your location. Please email Eileen Poiley, (epoiley@health.usf.edu) Director of Education at the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute to discuss program options, topics and cost.

Annual Summer Geriatric Health Care Conference

The annual conference will not be held this June 2020.  We will be planning a conference at a later date and will post information on the website. If you would like to be placed on a list to receive an email update, please email Eileen Poiley.
