An estimated 5.7 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is increasing exponentially thus creating hardship on families, communities and our nation. One piece of the Alzheimer’s puzzle is ensuring quality dementia-specific services (e.g. a trained workforce) are available for those in need.
The USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute provides a variety of educational programs and resources for health care professionals, service providers, organizations and businesses who provide services and care to individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
