What to Expect
Recovery from LASIK is relatively quick. Soon after surgery, most patients:
- Notice better and more clear vision almost instantly, with increased improvement over weeks
- Shower or bathe the day after surgery, taking care to avoid getting soap or water in the eye
- Are ready to drive, based on your post-op visit to our team.
- Return to work within a day or two
- Resume wearing makeup approximately one week after the procedure, it is however recommended to throw away your old make up and purchase new makeup to avoid infection.
- Resume exercise within a few days
