Malignant Melanoma Surgery
Malignant Eye Melanoma, also referred to as Ocular Melanoma, is a disease in which cancer cells form and grow in eye tissue. The onset of eye melanoma does not typically have obvious signs and symptoms, making it difficult to detect.
Warning signs of eye melanoma include:
- Dark spots on the iris
- Blurry or poor vision in one eye
- Change in pupil shape (the dark circle at the eye center)
- Floaters, a sensation of dust or flashes
- Flashing lights sensation
