Collaborations and Projects

Examples of Projects with USF Health:

Downtown Tampa Homelessness: A College of Public Health Activist Lab and Tampa Bay Street Medicine (TBSM) Collaboration

This project and presentation (lead by Dr. Joe Bohn) includes Activist Lab student board members (R. Trejos/C. Salazar) and members of the Morsani College of Medicine Tampa Bay Street Medicine Team (L. Linkowski/S. Hall).  The presentation focused on holistic factors associated with homelessness in Tampa Bay and covered applicable theory, a day in the life of our downtown homeless population, examples of other national street medicine team initiatives, and ways for students to engage.
