Advocation - Change it Up! is a podcast covering important public health topics and how we can do our part in advocating for change. Dr. Karen Liller is joined in each episode by a student co-host and esteemed guests who share their knowledge and experience on air.

The Adopt a School Program invites students from local schools to participate in lab meetings with Dr. Liller and her team to foster interest in topics for advocacy within their school and community. Students hone writing and speech skills while learning how to implement change at all levels.

Find Your Voice Seminars create a space for continued advocacy plans, advice for students, and the latest on public health initiatives.

This project is designed to develop and implement strategies to prevent and decrease loneliness and social isolation in our communities which is now at epidemic levels in the US. The Activist Lab is working with libraries, organizations, universities, and more to spread the word about this issue.

We have created videos on key public health issues. Examples include Under the Florida Sun, our video on climate change and its effect on farmworkers, and Public Health in a Minute, featuring leaders advocating and sharing their passions. Find our videos on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and more!

Lunch 'n Learn sessions allow our students to gain insight on effective advocacy practices associated with various public health issues.

Activist Lab Bootcamps cover important public health issues and allow participants to practice writing an advocacy presentation for change that is provided to Bootcamp participants, prior and current legislators, and advocates.
