The physics curriculum is designed by an in-house ABR certified medical physicist, with lectures built into the rotating morning conference schedule. The curriculum repeats yearly, featuring medical physics lectures based on the American Board of Radiology CORE exam study guide. Lectures are interactive and recorded for later reference.

Prior to taking the CORE exam, R3 residents will participate in a weeklong physics review course with our medical physicist. Residents have the option to attend additional review courses which are reimbursed by the department.

Residents are also given access to MRI Online which features prerecorded physics lectures.
