MS in Medical Sciences, Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences (IMS)

The IMS concentration within the MS in Medical Sciences program is designed to provide qualified students with advanced training in the sciences basic to the practice of medicine.
Students who perform well during this program will have developed competencies requisite for consideration for admission to medical, graduate, or other health professions programs. This concentration provides an opportunity for students interested in graduate work that has a broad medical base.
Students will take science and anatomy courses and examinations with first-year medical students which will allow successful participants to demonstrate their readiness for the rigors of a medical school curriculum. Each student receives personalized guidance to support their academic success and assist with the preparation of their professional school application. MCAT preparation is provided.

Curriculum & Admission Information

This program is designed to be completed with full time enrollment in one year (Summer, Fall, and Spring). Details about the admission requirements and curriculum for the IMS concentration can be found in the Graduate Catalog.
