Biography
Dr. Kapadia received his medical doctorate from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, in 2014. He completed his residency program in internal medicine at the University of South Florida in 2017, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Kapadia obtained his Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, in 2021 with additional training in Data Science for Healthcare Providers. He joined USF Hospital Medicine in 2017. In addition to his work as an internal medicine physician, Dr. Kapadia has developed the USF Internal Medicine Point of Care Ultrasound Program and teaches medical students a number of courses, including the Internal Medicine Clerkship, the Entrustable Professional Activities course, and an Integrated Clinical Skills course. He has served on the Tampa General Hospital Professionalism Committee and currently serves on the TGH Peer Review Committee. Dr. Kapadia served on quality improvement initiatives, including the TGH Medication Reconciliation Best Practices workgroup, the USF MAIN Division Best Practices Committee, the Division Quality Improvement Committee, and the Geographic Rounding workgroup, among others.
