The University of South Florida is a globally minded institution, and the Medical Sciences PhD program is representative of the university’s commitment to consistently enrolling highly qualified and motivated students from diverse backgrounds. We have more than 80 students in our program, in more than 40 different labs across campus. Incoming students do not need to select a mentor prior to joining the program. All students participate in at least three rotations before joining a lab. 

Association of Medical Sciences Graduate Students

AMSGS is a fully student-run organization for students in the Medical Sciences graduate programs (PhD and Masters). In addition to assisting with recruitment visits and new student orientation, AMSGS hosts social, academic, and professional development events throughout the year.
