USF TGH Family Medicine Residency Program

Medical Student Education

Rotation Opportunities for 4th Year Visiting Students

The Family Medicine Residency Program at the USF Health and Tampa General Hospital welcomes medical students from AAMC accredited medical schools to complete elective rotations with us. Though we are a new Family Medicine residency site, our faculty have years of experience working with students and our main hospital site, Tampa General Hospital (TGH), is a well-established and busy academic center with over 100 residency and fellowship programs which will provide residents with broad training and experiences. Our electives provide training in both inpatient and outpatient sites working directly with our family medicine faculty. The electives will be an excellent way to not only increase your skills and knowledge of Family Medicine but to also learn more about our residency and all we have to offer. We look forward to working with motivated and capable future family medicine residents who seek to become caring and future leaders in family medicine.
