A two-week externship is available for PGY-3 residents in Family Medicine. The rotation is designed to expose the resident to the major components of the sports medicine fellowship program. This includes working with one of the current fellows on their assigned rotation and weekly schedule which will include the sports medicine clinics and training room. This may include event coverage.

• Applicants must be from an LCME accredited medical school
• Applicants must be from an ACGME accredited residency program
• Application materials and appropriate documentation must be in place and in accordance with our GME policy which is currently three months prior to the rotation
• Housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis
• Due to the limited number of rotations spots available, we recommend you receive tentative approval by your residency program before submitting your rotation request to our fellowship program
• Acceptance for the away rotation does not guarantee an interview for a fellowship position
