Since the college’s creation by the Florida Legislature in 1985 to educate the public health workforce of Florida, the COPH has been passionate about creating opportunities to improve health outcomes and provide training in public health.
The USF College of Public Health offers workforce development activities including:COPH-related annual conferences, lectures and events offer professional development opportunities including the Dean’s Lecture Series, Florida Perinatal Quality Conference, and The Gravens Conference.
By 2022 the USF COPH will increase the number of conferences offered by 50% over baseline.
By 2022 the USF COPH will increase by 20% over baseline the number of attendees reached through workforce development, conferences and continuing education activities.
By 2022, the USF COPH will increase, over baseline, the number of programs offered annually that provide CPH credits to public health professionals.
