All students must apply to graduate during their final term and register for the commencement ceremony if they so choose. Please note, all students graduating must have an overall GPA of 3.0 and currently registered in at least 2 credit hours.

Steps to Graduation

1. Apply to Graduate through Student Self-Service (formerly Student OASIS)

2. RSVP for the Commencement ceremony

3. Order your graduation announcements from Herff Jones

4. Pre-order your cap and gown from the USF Bookstore during Grad Stampede

5. Honor Society Students: order your honor sash from the USF Bookstore during Grad Stampede

6. Check your email for ceremony updates

7. Attend Grad Stampede at the USF Bookstore

8. Pick up your pre-ordered regalia or purchase regalia in store two weeks prior to Commencement

9. International Students: pick up your international sash from International Student Services during the week of Commencement

10. Join the Alumni Association

11. Be successful in your final exams, dissertation defense or thesis completion

12. Enjoy your Commencement ceremony and Congratulations on your graduation from the University of South Florida!
