Research Interests

  • My research focuses on discovering the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiovascular diseases. I am particularly interested in mitochondrial signaling pathways that control mitochondrial fission, fusion, and ion transport during physiological conditions and how alterations in these processes impact mitochondrial and cellular functions in pathological conditions in the cardiovascular system. Through this research, we aim to develop novel therapeutic strategies for targeting cardiovascular diseases.
