HIV Clinical Research Unit
Overview
The Specialty Care Center (SCC) at the FDOH in Hillsborough County is a state-of-the-art clinical facility providing the highest quality care for sexual preventative health and to persons living with HIV. The Center is Ryan White funded for medical, dental and pharmacy services. USF Infectious Disease clinical research team at the Clinical Research Unit (CRU), founded by Dr. Jeffrey Nadler in 1995, is comprised of highly qualified clinical researchers and staff. The CRU offers access to innovative translational, clinical, and behavioral research to prevent HIV and other infectious diseases and aims to improve the quality of life of those living with HIV.
