• Age 18 and over 
• CD4 greater than 250 
• VL less than 50 
• Must be on a stable lipid-lowering therapy for at least 4 weeks 
• Must not have Type I Diabetes 
• If you have Type II Diabetes, the diabetes must be uncontrolled

You may qualify for this study if the following applies to you:

• Must have taken HIV medications for at least 180 days prior to study entry
• CD4 greater than 100
• Ages between 40 to 75
• Fasting LDL cholesterol less than 190 mg/dL
• Fasting triglycerides less than 500 mg/dL
• Must not have had cancer within 36 months prior to study entry
• Must not have serious illness or trauma requiring systemic treatment or hospitalization in the 30 days prior to study entry
• Diabetes - LDL cannot be greater 70 mg/dL

PHC

• Patient at the Florida Department of Health - Hillsborough County
• Meet at least one of the following:
  • Most recent viral load lab result of 200 copies/mL or greater
  • Attended an initial HIV appointment with a provider at one of the four clinics within the past 12 months
  • Out of care (last attended appointment at the clinic was more than 6 months ago)
