Salary & Benefits
The University Of South Florida Morsani College Of Medicine and its affiliate hospitals provide competitive salaries and benefits for the southeastern United States based on the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Annual Survey. All residents enter the program as a PGY-2. Resident salaries are published each year on USF Graduate Medical Education (GME) site.
USF GME oversees all residency and fellowship programs at USF and has a wealth of information for incoming and current residents on their site. They prepare the House Officer Handbook to help you familiarize yourself with the benefits provided to you as a USF GME trainee. The Handbook also provides you with a comprehensive summary of policies, procedures and services available to you.

In addition to the paid salary, all tuition and fees for the USF OMR MSPH program are paid for from our National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Sunshine Education Research Center (ERC) Grant. The Sunshine Education and Research Center is dedicated to training professionals on how to treat and prevent occupational illnesses, why illness occur in the workplace, and how to make the workplace a safer environment. An Interdisciplinary approach is taken when training these graduate students.
