The Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative (FPQC) is a network of professionals committed to enhancing perinatal health care. The FPQC collaborates with partners to improve the health and well-being of mothers and infants across Florida. The mission is to deliver the highest quality, evidence-based perinatal care while advancing education and training through data-driven initiatives.

MamaCareRising is dedicated to providing education and resources to support maternal health outcomes. Experience the convenience of telehealth visits, with a minimum of three sessions, to comprehensively assess your needs and provide the necessary support. A range of services and resources are available to assist during pregnancy and postpartum.

With the support of March of Dimes, together we implemented the March of Dimes Supportive Pregnancy Care Program, an innovative model that enhances prenatal care through group-based support and education. In 2024, our team took part in March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement, aimed at driving positive change for mothers and babies, especially those facing the greatest risks. Together, we raised $7,084 to help families access the highest-quality maternal care from the very beginning.

REACHUP is a leading organization dedicated to preventing infant and maternal deaths through innovative practices. Our department partners with REACHUP to improve maternal and infant health outcomes in the Tampa Bay area. This collaboration is exemplified at the Genesis Women's Center, where we work together to provide comprehensive prenatal and perinatal care.

B.E.S.T Logo

Brain Expansions Scholastic Training (B.E.S.T.)

The B.E.S.T. program is the only initiative of its kind in Tampa Bay, offering teens a unique, firsthand exploration of educational pathways and careers in the medical field. It provides an in-depth look at various healthcare professions and gives participants the chance to learn directly from healthcare professionals in clinical settings. This program supports USF Health OB/GYN by fostering community engagement, inspiring future medical professionals, and promoting awareness of careers in women's health.

Metropolitan Ministries is a nonprofit in Tampa Bay dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Our department organizes volunteer days to give back to the community. These opportunities allow us to contribute to those in need, strengthening our local community and making a positive impact.
Healthy Start

Healthy Start

The Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County collaborates with our department to enhance maternal and child health services in the community. Through this partnership, we work together to provide comprehensive care and support to women, children, and families. By leveraging community resources and the expertise of USF Health OB/GYN professionals, they offer a variety of programs aimed at improving outcomes for mothers and their children, ensuring access to necessary health services, education, and support.

MotherToBaby

MotherToBaby Florida specialists answer questions about exposures during pregnancy and breastfeeding for Florida residents. Their specialists see patients in person or via telehealth at The Exposure Clinic at USF Health, where the team of certified genetic counselors and a maternal-fetal medicine specialist provide care at all stages of pregnancy: preconception, pregnancy, and breastfeeding.
