Welcome

The Department of Neurology at The University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine welcomes you! Our goal is to train clinical neuroscientists: individuals who provide expert patient care and who understand basic and clinic neurosciences. We strive to provide the highest quality training in Clinical Neurophysiology.

To meet this objective, trainees receive extensive clinical experience in the inpatient and outpatient setting supervised by an active, energetic faculty with a wide variety of clinical and research interests.

The one-year fellowship program will prepare you to establish and supervise an electromyography and/or electroencephalography laboratory in an academic center or integrated group practice. This fellowship will also qualify you to take the ABPN Clinical Neurophysiology Certification Examination.

Numerous teaching conferences supplement the basic curriculum and provide Fellows with a strong foundation in principles of basic and clinical science. In addition to emphasizing education, Clinical Neurophysiology Faculties are active in clinic care and research. Because of this exposure, graduates of the program are prepared to practice independently as Clinical Neurophysiologists.

Again, we welcome you and hope you will enjoy your educational experience as a Fellow in our program.
