Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship

Letter to Applicants

Thank you for your interest in the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University Of South Florida Department Of Neurology. This is a one-year, ACGME accredited program in which fellows will receive training in both EEG and EMG. Upon successful completion, fellows are eligible for board certification in Clinical Neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Please note that applicants must have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited program in neurology, child neurology, neurodevelopment disabilities, or psychiatry prior to beginning the fellowship.

Our goal at USF is to provide our fellows with the structure and guidance to develop the skills necessary to provide the highest quality of patient care. Fellows train in both inpatient and outpatient centers under the instruction of knowledgable and dynamic faculties who are active in clinic care as well as research. Fellows have opportunities to attend conferences, give undergraduate lectures, conduct active resarch, and engage in other training and scholarly activities which will enhance their foundation and knowledge of clinical neurophysiology.

USF Department of Neurology currently offers up to three (3) fellow positions per academic year. Consideration for an interview will be given upon submission of all required documents. Due to the competitiveness of our program, applicants are highly encouraged to apply as early as possible. If you would like more information about the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship, please contact Lidia Dordevic at Lidia.Dordevic@va.gov.

We appreciate your consideration of USF for your Clinical Neurophysiology training. We strongly believe that our program will prepare fellows for their careers in Neurology. We look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,
Tuan Vu, MD
Program Director
