Customizing care to the unique
needs of each patient.
Living quality and productive lives with mental illness has
never been more possible.
The health care team at USF Health Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences
offers compassionate and competent care for a wide range of mental health,
emotional and behavioral conditions. Treatment options, from counseling to
neurotherapy techniques, and access to clinical trials can improve patient
outcomes and quality of life. And, because we are part of an academic medical
center, we can give you the most current medicine, treatment and cures
available, an advantage few other physician groups can offer.
Our providers offer specialty care within many clinics across the Tampa Bay
area, including:
The USF Health Psychiatry Center provides quality,
compassionate patient care in an outpatient setting.
The Mary Louise and Archie Silver Child Development Center is
dedicated to expanding knowledge about child and adolescent psychiatric
disorders, their diagnosis and treatment, as well as promoting prevention and
healthy development.
The USF Health Memory Disorders Clinic offers a multidisciplinary and
individualized approach to the diagnosis of persons with memory disorders and
related conditions.
The USF Health Neurotherapies Clinic provides patients with new
techniques in the treatment of certain mental health disorders. Neurotherapy
utilizes magnetic field or electrical charge to stimulate areas of the brain to
assist with symptom improvement. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
therapy is available to eligible patients for the treatment of medication
resistant major depression on a convenient outpatient basis.
At USF Health, we want to make it
easy for patients to get the care they need.
