Health insurance typically does not cover the costs of an executive physical. Unless previous arrangements have been made with your company, you will be asked for payment at the time of your examination. Additional testing may or may not be covered by insurance; we encourage you to contact your health insurance provider and ask about any possible coverage for additional tests.

Most tests are conveniently performed within our office and conducted in a four to six hour period, available five days a week.

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the time on your agenda. This will allow you to become acclimated to the area.

Computer: You are welcome to bring your laptop or touch pad device, we do have wi-fi within the building. If you do not have a laptop, we do have tablets available for your use.

Clothes: You will be provided with a set of USF Health scrubs for the day of your services and will be able to take them home with you after your day of services.

* It is recommended that you wear running/walking shoes for the day. An exercise treadmill stress test will likely occur during your examination and you must be wearing slip resistant shoes.

Fasting is required the day you have blood work. It will be specified in your email prior to services if fasting is required. Tests that will require fasting are an abdominal ultrasound and some of the other images as well. This will be determined with your concierge and they will make sure to provide this information to you in your processing email prior to the service date.

It is recommended that you do not drink any caffeinated beverage prior to your arrival if you are scheduled to have a stress test. Refreshments will be provided including coffee, fruit, and healthy snacks after testing.

The services provided require prep time, and as a courtesy to our clinical departments, advance notice is essential.
