Biography
Dr. Bulka is an environmental and molecular epidemiologist. Her research interests include the health effects of exposures to physical, chemical, and biological stressors, with an emphasis on exposures common in Florida, such as extreme weather events and toxins produced by the algae that causes red tides. Her work emphasizes vulnerable populations, including pregnant individuals, infants, children, and cancer survivors.
