Med-Peds Residency Program
Thank you for your interest in the Med-Peds Residency Program. All applications are accepted through ERAS. Interview invitations will be sent through Thalamus. Interviews will be conducted through Zoom.
The following supporting documents should be sent to ERAS:
- Completed ERAS Application
- Medical School Transcript
- USMLE/COMLEX Scores
- Curriculum Vitae
- Personal statement
- MSPE
- Three letters of recommendation:
- USF accepts only the J1 visa (H-1 not acceptable)
- For International Graduates, you need to have graduated within five years of the current match year and completed a minimum of six months of clinical experience in the United States. You also need to have your ECFMG certificate before our rank list is submitted. The University of South Florida only sponsors a J-1 VISA.

Our program employs a holistic review process in which a committee carefully evaluates all applications across multiple domains, including academic performance, experiences, personal qualities, and program fit. Interview invitations are extended based on the overall strength of an applicant's portfolio, and selected applicants will be notified via email. Although program signals are considered as part of our review process, they are only one factor among many and do not guarantee an interview invitation. You will be notified by email that you have been selected for an interview.
