Medical Students

Arianna is a medical student researcher in the iMH Lab. She is currently completing her MD at the University of South Florida. After obtaining her medical degree, she plans on completing her medical residency in psychiatry and pursuing a career in adult or emergency psychiatry. Her research interests are in factors affecting mental health of children and adolescents, and sex differences in mental health presentation.
Hannah is a medical student researcher in the iMH Lab. She is currently completing her MD at the University of South Florida. After obtaining her medical degree, she plans on completing her medical residency in psychiatry and pursuing a career in adolescent/emergency psychiatry or psychiatric oncology. Her research interests are in personality, family dynamics, and psychosocial factors affecting the quality of life in cancer patients.
Caroline is a medical student researcher in the iMH Lab. She is currently completing her MD at the University of South Florida. After obtaining her medical degree, she plans on completing her medical residency in psychiatry or family medicine and pursuing a career involving lifestyle and integrative medicine. Her research interests are in the use of technology to coach habit change.
Henry is a medical student researcher in the iMH Lab. He is currently completing his MD at the University of South Florida. After obtaining his medical degree, he plans on completing his medical residency in psychiatry or psychiatry/internal medicine and pursuing a career as a consultation- liaison psychiatrist or a psychiatrist/internist, with a background in public health. His research interests are in informant discrepancies in family dynamics and prediction factors in the development of mental health symptomatology.
Demi is a medical student researcher in the iMH Lab. She  is currently completing her MD at the University of South Florida. She is currently unsure what specialty she wants to pursue after completing her medical degree. Her research interests are in factors that contribute to mental health and oncology/genetics.

Undergraduate Students

Nirzari Patel is an undergraduate research assistant in the iMH Lab. She is currently completing her BS in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology at the University of South Florida, where she also is a member of the Honors College. After obtaining her undergraduate degree she plans on attending medical school and pursuing a career in the field of pediatrics or psychiatry. Her research interests are on anxiety and depression in adolescents.

Charvi is an undergraduate research assistant in the iMH Lab. She is currently completing her BS in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in entrepreneurship at the University of South Florida, where she also is a member of the Honors College. After obtaining her undergraduate degree she plans on attending medical school and pursuing a career in the field of pediatrics. Her research interests are in the treatment of anxiety disorders.

Gabrielle Tapley is an undergraduate research assistant in the iMH Lab. She is currently completing her BS in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in psychology at the University of South Florida, where she also is a member of the Honors College. After obtaining her undergraduate degree she plans on attending medical school. Her research interests are in examining factors that pose as barriers to receiving mental health treatment.

Rajvi is an undergraduate research assistant in the iMH Lab. She is currently completing her BS in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology at the University of South Florida, where she also is a member of the Honors College. After obtaining her undergraduate degree she plans on attending medical school and pursuing a career in pediatrics. Her research interests are in factors affecting mental health of children and adolescents.

Ali is an undergraduate research assistant in the iMH Lab. He is currently completing his BS in Biology at the University of South Florida. After obtaining his undergraduate degree he plans on attending medical school where he plans to pursue ophthalmology. His research interests are in telehealth therapy solutions. 

Past Students

Aizara was an undergraduate research assistant in the iMH Lab. She completed her BS in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida and went on to attend medical school at Loyola.
