Clinical Education

Clinical education (CE) typically makes up about thirty percent of your doctor of physical therapy degree program, and at USF School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences we are committed to our students having a quality experience. We also value the commitment of our clinical education partners to our School and students to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.

Some unique characteristics of our clinical education experience are:

  • Web-based software allows students access to all clinical education sites
  • Affiliation agreements with over 600 clinical sites
  • Clinical Education team readily available to assist students and clinical education partners
  • Integrated Clinical Education (ICE) experiences (years 1 & 2) in local top hospitals and clinics
  • Variety of practice setting placements including pediatrics, women's health, home health
  • Active participation in student-run pro bono BRIDGE clinic
  • Clinical Education Advisory Board consists of strategic clinical partners to provide expertise
  • Commitment to build relationships with all stakeholders for a high quality student experience
