Biswal Lab
Overview
Welcome to the Biswal Lab of Cellular and Molecular Therapeutics
The Biswal Lab of Cellular and Molecular Therapeutics (BLCMT) is located in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (DPS) within USF Health Taneja College of Pharmacy (TCOP) at the University of South Florida (USF), Tampa, Florida. Research in our lab is focused on studying mechanism of retinal degeneration and regeneration. We are employing Gene/Drug/Nanomedicine based approach with a goal of harnessing this information for developing novel therapeutics to treat retinal degenerative and vascular diseases. We utilize a range of advanced molecular, genetic, biochemical and functional tools in cell culture and animal models for our studies. We always look for motivated and enthusiastic people to join our lab.
