All residents and fellows participate in longitudinal research projects during their training, with funded opportunities to present at local, regional, and national meetings. Integrated residents participate in a VA-funded research year between their second and third years.
In addition to post-graduate training, USF vascular surgery is committed to undergraduate medical education. Students participate in vascular surgery as part of their third-year surgical clerkship and have the opportunity to gain additional experience during the Acting Internship in Vascular surgery, which is offered both in-person and in virtual formats. Please contact our program coordinator if you are interested in participating.
