Application and Offer Timeline

We understand the importance of clarity and fairness in the fellowship application process. In this regard, the American Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (ASSFN), with oversight from the Committee on Advanced Subspecialty Training (CAST), has established a policy that Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery fellowship positions should not be offered more than 2 years prior to the fellowship start date. As such, while interviews for this fellowship may be conducted earlier, formal offers will not be extended until within this specified timeframe. This policy ensures equal opportunities for all candidates and upholds the integrity of the selection process. We look forward to supporting you in your pursuit of advanced training in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery
