Facilities

    • Located inside the ED, secured behind two badge-access points
    • Equipped with computers, printers, and scanners for rapid documentation
    • Locking cabinets and secure supply storage
    • Dedicated research lab space: refrigerated centrifuge, fixed pipettes, and a –20°C freezer
    • Immediate access to the adjacent clinical laboratory, including a –80°C freezer
    • Dedicated coordinator and nurse office space
    • Clinical tools for follow-up visits: vital signs, ECG, oxygen, blood draws, scale, and a 6‑minute walk test track
    • Research laboratory with centrifuges, refrigerators, –20°C and –80°C freezers (TempTrak monitored)
    • Ambient temperature monitoring and alert system (TempTrak)
    • Satellite Investigational Drug Services (IDS) pharmacy for secure IP storage and dispensing
    • Space for study supply receipt and specimen processing/shipping
    • TempTrak monitoring with automated alerts and archived reports for sponsor review
    • Florence e‑regulatory system with study-specific folders (DOA logs, training logs, AE logs)
    • Epic EMR for integrated clinical documentation
    • Monitor access to both Epic and Florence for source data verification and document review
